Me Made: Vintage Women’s Weekly Blouse

Last year during some of my epic opshop adventures I spotted this cute package. I peeked inside and to my surprise was a pattern from Women's Weekly in 1973! It JUST fit my measurements so I made it up and OMG its so cute!

Pattern: I extended the sleeve a tiny bit because I was worried it might be a bit tight and the fit is pretty much perfect. I would have never made anything like this a year ago, but I think Gold Coast style is inspiring me a bit. Obviously, the fabric choice isn't very GC but it's 100% ME! 😂

I made a matching pair of shorts with the @common_stitch Pipit Shorts. I find the rise to be a bit short on them so I lengthened by about 2 inches so I don't get a camel toe. There’s definitely more of these on the way, Ive been living in shorts lately.

Fabric: I used the loveliest fabric remnant sent to me by my aunt @thecarpentersdaughternz
Thank you Caroline & Morgan! Hope you like what I did with it ☺️
